Got the nebula system all working. Including it's effects on ship visibility. Mission number 4 "Fork in the Road" gently introduces this as the big bad emerges from a nebula in the start. The next mission "Man on the Run" takes place completely in a nebula. Here's the intro showing some of the cinematic effects I get from having another "terrain" type.
I've gone through the previous environments and added nebulas to help with the look. I also added a system for to allow you to skip cut scenes (my kids were demanding it!)
